Due to growth and deliveries to our sister company Aquadistri B.V., we are looking for an enthusiastic colleague! Become an important part of our success story as an all-round orderpicker at ReptoFood, formerly known as ‘De Springplank’! Shine in our nursery in Dongen, where we feed, care for and pack insects for our customers on a daily basis. Together with our friendly team, you will ensure that fresh, live insects and other products are prepared and delivered with care and precision. Your role as an Allround orderpicker
You are mainly responsible for preparing fresh live insects from our nursery at shop level. From stock management, order picking and labelling. Our team, consisting of four permanent employees, works together in a familiar and informal atmosphere. If this dynamic role appeals to you and you have a hands-on mentality without fear of insects, then you are the one we are looking for!

You completely recognise yourself in this profile:
- You are good with unpacking, packing, preparing for shipment, sorting and checking.
- You have an affinity with computers, can print receipts and process orders in the system;
- You enjoy working independently but have a team spirit to help your colleagues when needed.
- You are flexible with infectious drive and a good dose of enthusiasm;
- You have a hands-on approach and are not shy when it comes to working with insects;
- Developing new skills is in your DNA; You are always motivated to learn and grow.
- Working all-round like a pro is great, but don’t worry if you have no experience yet, we’ll happily guide you through the ropes!
- You are proficient in the Dutch language
Your work environment at ReptoFood:
We are Reptofood BV, formerly known as ‘De Sprinkplank’, an insect farm located in the rural area of Dongen. For 25 years, we have focused on breeding grasshoppers and cockroaches for the food animal industry. Our daily tasks include feeding, grooming and packaging insects for our valued customers. Since 1 January 2024, we have been part of the Aquatic Wholesale Group, a manufacturer and wholesaler with a complete range of products for aquariums, ponds and reptiles.
