About this job.
Will you be our new lab production assistant? Do you have a passion for aquarium plants and, are adept at cultivation (propagation) using a knife and tweezers (tissue culture)? You play a crucial role with us in this process, where we strive for optimal sterility in our working environment. You will become part of a team driven to ensure the diversity and quality of our aquarium plants. We would not be able to achieve this without your expertise in cultivation.
Your role as lab production worker:
You are that lab production worker responsible for the process from the disassembly of aquarium plants to their cultivation. You feel at home in a structured and organised working environment, where sterility is paramount.
It is essential that you can work well sterile, have an eye for detail and are thoughtful and attentive. With our enthusiastic team, we work hard every day, but there is definitely room for sociability. We believe in the power of team spirit! Training is not the most important thing, but rather the right personality in our team.
You recognise yourself in the following profile:
- You have a passion for (aquarium) plants and an affinity with the field.
- Accuracy, a steady hand and good communication skills are second nature to you.
- You enjoy working independently but have the team spirit to help your colleagues when needed.
- You are flexible with infectious drive and a good dose of enthusiasm;
- You like structure and feel comfortable with repetitive production tasks.
- You also enjoy alternating your daily activities and acquiring new skills.
