Due to growth and deliveries to our sister company Aquadistri B.V., we are looking for an enthusiastic colleague! Become an important part of our success story as an all-round employee at ReptoFood, formerly known as „De Springplank“! Shine in our nursery in Dongen, where we daily feed, care for and pack insects for our customers. Together with our friendly team, you will make sure that fresh, live insects and other products are prepared and delivered with care and precision. Your role as an Allround Employee
You are primarily responsible for preparing fresh live insects from our nursery at store level, followed by morning and afternoon delivery to our location in Klundert. From stock control, order picking, labeling to loading and unloading and delivery with our van. Our team, consisting of four permanent employees, works together in a familiar and informal atmosphere. You completely recognise yourself in this profile:
- You are good with unpacking, packing, shipping preparation, sorting and checking.
- You enjoy working independently, but have a team spirit to help your colleagues when needed.
- You are flexible with infectious drive and a good dose of enthusiasm;
- You have a hands-on approach and are not shy when it comes to working with insects;
- Developing new skills is in your DNA; You are always eager to learn and grow.
- Working all-round like a pro is great, but don’t worry if you have no experience yet, we’ll be happy to guide you through the ropes!
You are armed with the following skills:
- You drive around confidently with your driver’s license B.
Your work environment at ReptoFood:
We are Reptofood BV, formerly known as „De Sprinkplank“, an insect farm located in the rural area of Dongen. For 25 years we have focused on breeding grasshoppers and cockroaches for the food animal industry. Our daily tasks include feeding, conditioning and packaging insects for our valued customers. Since January 1, we are part of the Aquatic Wholesale Group, a manufacturer and wholesaler with a complete range of products for aquariums, ponds and reptiles.
