Your role as an Accounts Payable Employee:
As an Accounts Payable Employee at AquaDistri, you will be responsible for processing the financial administration together with 2 colleagues. Your primary task is to accurately process all incoming invoices, making you the lynchpin of our accounts payable department. You will carry out this role completely independently and you will also act as the contact person for our creditors. As you master this role, additional tasks will be added to your duties, including supporting the accounts receivable department. Our aim within financial administration is to be all-round, so that we can seamlessly take over tasks in case of absence. You can expect more challenging tasks in the future, like:

  • Managing general ledger accounts.
  • Processing cash and bank mutations.
  • Handling invoicing between Aquadistri and sister companies.
  • Contributing to budgeting and periodic financial reports.

You are armed with the following skills:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum vocational education+ working and thinking level.
  • Practical Diploma in Accounting or similar qualifications.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (especially Excel & Word)
  • Experience with accounting software, preferably Unit4 Wholesale.
  • Good command of the English language. Knowledge of German and/or French is a plus.

Your work environment at AquaDistri:
We are AquaDistri B.V. a proud branch of the Aquatic Wholesale Group. We supply an extensive range of products, including ornamental- and pond fish, aquarium plants and reptiles, to more than 3,500 shops both nationally and internationally! At our logistics centre in Klundert, everything comes together – from goods to fish and plants – to collect and prepare orders for shipment. We take care of transport ourselves, with our own team of drivers and together with transport partners.
