On-Call Driver (cat. B License)

Are you a master of steering with flair and enthusiasm on the road? As the true captain of deliveries at Aquadistri B.V., you will drive to our distribution centre by dawn from Tuesday to Friday. Your mission: to deliver the outgoing freight smoothly and punctually to our valued customers. We are looking for someone with flair and experience to join our team on an on-call basis. For example, are you a pensioner who wants to earn extra money every now and then and fill in as support during holidays, illness and busy periods? Your role as on-call driver:
As our enthusiastic good-humored driver, you will arrive at our distribution centre between 04:00 – 06:00 (depending on the day) from Tuesday to Friday. You will start by strategically loading orders into our reliable Mercedes Benz Sprinter. After all, we treasure fragile and special goods ranging from glass aquariums to live fish and plants.
With your skilled hands and eye for detail, you make sure everything is safely on board. Whether it’s a large glass aquarium or a delicate shipment of live fish, you have no trouble handling it. Then you set off for the customer and, on arrival, you are our shining business card!
You completely recognise yourself in this profile:
- You are in good physical health, because you need that when loading and checking.
- Early mornings do not scare you; for you, sunrise is a starting signal for a new day full of energy on the road.
- Unexpected situations? Stress is not on your watch; you stay cool, calm, and in control!
- You enjoy working independently, but have a team spirit to help your colleagues when needed.
- You are not only customer-friendly and presentable; you also bring a radiant smile!
- You are flexible with infectious drive and a good dose of enthusiasm;
- You have a critical eye for safe and careful transport.
You are armed with the following skills:
- You have been driving around confidently with your B driving licence for at least 2 years.
Your work environment at AquaDistri:
We are AquaDistri B.V., a proud branch of the Aquatic Wholesale Group. We supply an extensive range of aquarium, pond and reptile products, including ornamental/pond fish and aquarium plants, to more than 3,500 shops both at home and abroad! At our logistics centre in Klundert, everything comes together – from goods to fish and plants – to collect orders and prepare them for shipment. We take care of transport ourselves, with our own team of drivers and together with transport partners.
